Authorship in research papers

• First author is junior author who makes most of the research such as graduate student.

• Corresponding author can be any author appearing in the list with an indicator e.g. # symbol depending on the paper formating rule. He/she will receive all editorial communications regarding the status of the manuscript, revisions, and reviews.
